A radiator guard with side returns designed by the FCR Original workshop for the whole Triumph 400 range, between protection and style

This radiator guard was designed and developed by the FCR Original workshop to protect and enhance the front of your Triumph 400. It replaces the original guard with a part featuring a worked pattern, made to assert the character of the bike while reinforcing radiator protection.

Its main asset is protection. The radiator is a fragile, expensive part, exposed to gravel, insects and debris, particularly in all-road use. This guard blocks impacts while preserving the airflow needed for cooling, thanks to its optimised perforation.

The design with side returns is what sets this guard apart. The folded edges also cover the sides of the radiator, for more complete protection than a simple front plate, and bring extra rigidity to the part. A real plus in real-world conditions.

Made from AG3 aluminium, light and corrosion-resistant, the guard weighs only 300 grams and features a clean finish, in black or brushed aluminium, signed by the integrated FCR logo plate. Fitting is simple, reusing the original screws, with no drilling, and stays fully reversible.

No. The guard's perforation is optimised to let through the airflow needed to cool the radiator, while blocking spray. You therefore get the protection without compromising the engine's operating temperature, including in sustained or all-road use.

❯ What is the difference between the black and brushed finish?

The black finish gives a discreet result that blends into the front of the bike, while brushed aluminium brings a metallic contrast that highlights the grille pattern. The choice is purely aesthetic, according to the style you want for your build. Both finishes are available for your Triumph 400.
