6. Transfers outside the European Union
Some of our service providers, in particular Shopify, the payment solutions and international carriers, may process your data outside the European Union.
These transfers are subject to the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR: an adequacy decision of the European Commission where one exists, or standard contractual clauses together with supplementary technical and organisational measures.
When you order delivery outside the European Union, your identity and address data is necessarily passed to the customs authorities of the destination country under the applicable customs rules.
You can obtain a copy of the safeguards in place by writing to accessoires@fcroriginal.com.
7. Cookies and trackers
A cookie is a file placed on your device when you visit the Site. We use several categories of trackers.
7.1. Strictly necessary cookies
These enable the Site to function: shopping cart, login session, security, remembering your language and delivery country, recording your cookie choices. They do not require your consent and cannot be disabled.
7.2. Audience measurement cookies
These help us understand how the Site is used and improve how it works. They are subject to your consent, unless they meet the exemption conditions set by the French data protection authority (CNIL).
7.3. Advertising and social network cookies
These allow us to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and, where applicable, to show you personalised advertising. They are only set with your prior consent.
7.4. Affiliate trackers
If you reach the Site through an affiliate partner's link, a tracker links any resulting order to that partner in order to calculate their commission. This tracker is not used to show you advertising.
7.5. Managing your choices
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept, refuse or customise non-essential trackers. Refusing is as easy as accepting. You can change your choices at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer.
Your choice is stored for six months. Trackers have a maximum lifetime of thirteen months, and data collected through them is kept for no more than twenty-five months.
You can also set your browser to refuse cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may, however, prevent the Site from working properly, in particular when placing an order.
8. Data security
FCR implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorised access: HTTPS encryption of communications, hosting on secure infrastructure, access restricted to authorised staff, authentication of administrator accounts.
Payment data is processed directly by PCI DSS certified providers. FCR has no access to it.
In the event of a data breach likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, you will be informed under the conditions laid down in Article 34 of the GDPR.
9. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights:
-
Right of access: to obtain confirmation that your data is being processed and to receive a copy.
-
Right to rectification: to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
-
Right to erasure: to have your data deleted, subject to our legal retention obligations.
-
Right to restriction: to request that processing be temporarily suspended.
-
Right to data portability: to receive the data you have provided to us in a structured, machine-readable format.
-
Right to object: to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and at any time and without giving reasons to direct marketing.
-
Right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
-
Right to give instructions regarding the handling of your data after your death.
How to exercise your rights

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
