The drawing is an FCR Original signature. The bars form a workshop-style grille, both raw and refined, that dresses the headlight and instantly gives character to the front of the motorcycle. It is one of those details that transform the allure of an R nineT without distorting its lines.
Beyond the style, this grille has a real protective function. It shields against gravel spray and limits the risk of impact on the lens, useful safety on the road as well as on the trail sections that R nineT bikes happily come across. The headlight stays preserved, without losing anything of its lighting efficiency.
The grille is offered in two finishes, to match the style you give your motorcycle. The Noir version blends into the whole for a sober and discreet rendering, while the Brossé version plays the card of exposed metal and contrast. The choice is made according to your preferences and the rest of your build.
The fitting has been designed to stay simple. The grille fixes by reusing the original headlight hardware, with the supplied screws, with no drilling or modification to the bracket. The headlight orientation is set at the time of fitting thanks to the oblong hole, which allows the beam to stay correctly aimed.
Each headlight grille is designed, inspected and packed in our FCR Original workshop, in Chauvigny. Installation is done by reusing the original headlight hardware, with no drilling. Here are the main steps: 1. Hold the headlight, then unscrew the nuts while holding it. 2. Remove the original star-shaped screws. 3. Position the headlight grille and the headlight, then refit the star-shaped screws. 4. Set the headlight inclination using the oblong hole, being careful not to damage the mudguard. 5. Retighten the nuts once the orientation is correct. Important: the oblong hole determines the headlight inclination, to be set carefully before the final tightening. The complete assembly instructions accompany the product. If you are not comfortable with this type of work, we recommend entrusting it to a professional.
