Stainless Headlight Grill | Triumph Bonneville T120 & T100

Stainless steel headlight grill for the Triumph Bonneville T100 and T120: protect the stock headlight and toughen up the front end

This headlight grill was designed by the FCR Original workshop for the original round headlight of the Triumph Bonneville T100 and T120 from 2016 onwards. It gives the Bonneville's front end a more rugged character, in the spirit of scramblers and rally bikes, without changing the stock lighting.

Its first job is to protect the lens. Its crossed bars shield it from stones, road debris and the small knocks that mark a headlight over the miles, while letting the light beam through. It is useful protection on the road and on trails, noticed as much for its style as for its role.

It is made from laser-cut, assembled stainless steel, for a rigid part that fears neither corrosion nor vibration. At 200 x 185 x 80 mm and 300 g, it follows the shape of the headlight without adding weight to the front. Two finishes are available: brushed stainless steel for a raw look, or black for a more discreet fit.

Fitting requires no modification: holding the headlight in place, remove its mounting screws, position the grill, then refit and tighten the original screws. Simply adjust the angle of the headlight and grill before final tightening. The job is reversible and takes a few minutes.

Is your Bonneville fitted with a Bates headlight? It needs a dedicated grill, also designed by our workshop, linked just below. Like every FCR Original part, this grill is designed and tested on our Triumph builds in Chauvigny, France.

The advantages of the Headlight Grill | Triumph Bonneville T100 & T120

Stock headlight protected from stones

Its crossed bars shield the lens from stones, road debris and small knocks while letting the beam through. Your original headlight stays intact over the miles, on road and trail alike.

Laser-cut stainless steel, just 300 g

Made from laser-cut stainless steel, the grill is rigid and unaffected by corrosion and vibration. At 300 g, it protects the front without weighing it down, in brushed stainless or black.

Fitted in minutes, fully reversible

The grill fits with the original headlight screws, with no drilling or modification. Just adjust the headlight angle on final tightening, and the bike can go back to stock at any time.

Frequently asked questions about Headlight Grill | Triumph Bonneville T100 & T120

❯ What does a headlight grill do on a motorcycle?

A headlight grill protects the lens from stones, road debris and small knocks that scratch or crack a headlight over time. It lets the light beam through while forming a physical shield in front of the glass. On a modern classic, it also adds a more rugged look inspired by scramblers and rally bikes.

❯ Does a headlight grill reduce lighting?

A well-designed grill covers only a small part of the headlight surface, so the beam remains largely clear. It is important, however, to adjust the headlight angle after fitting to keep a correct range and avoid dazzling other road users. If you ride a lot at night, check your lighting after fitting.

❯ Is this grill compatible with my bike?

It is designed for the original headlight of the Triumph Bonneville T100 and Bonneville T120 from 2016 onwards. It does not fit a Bates headlight: for that headlight, choose our dedicated Bates headlight grill. If in doubt about your headlight or model year, contact us before ordering.

❯ How do I fit the headlight grill?

Fitting takes a few minutes with the original screws. Hold the headlight in place, undo and remove its mounting screws, position the grill, then refit the screws. Adjust the angle of the headlight and grill, then tighten the screws. No modification is needed and the job is reversible.

❯ What is the difference between the black and brushed finishes?

The brushed finish leaves the stainless steel visible, for a raw look that matches the Bonneville's chrome and aluminium. The black finish blends with the headlight and the bike's dark parts, for a more discreet, modern look. Shape, material and fitting are identical.

❯ Which parts go well with the headlight grill?

For a consistent front end, the grill pairs well with our turn signals and mirrors for the Triumph Bonneville in the same finish. On a scrambler build, it complements an FCR Original sump guard and chain guard for an assertive off-road style.
