Signed Kineo, an Italian high-end benchmark, they swap the Scrambler 400 X's cast wheels for spoked wheels, and give the XC a lighter, better-finished alternative to its original wheels.
The format respects the bike's scrambler architecture: a 19-inch front rim in 2.50x19 and a 3.75x17 rear rim. The large front diameter rolls easily over ruts and trails, while the 17-inch rear takes road or dual-purpose tubeless tyres.
On a light, playful bike, wheel weight makes all the difference. The anodised aluminium and stainless steel construction reduces unsprung mass: the Scrambler 400 places itself even more easily, the suspension follows the terrain more closely on trails, and the rigidity of the set keeps the front end precise on broken ground.
Kineo's patented tubeless technology lets you ride spoked wheels without an inner tube, and fix a puncture on the spot with a simple plug kit. Wheel bearings and spacers are included. Fitting is done on the original base, transferring the brake discs and rear sprocket, a job to be entrusted only to a qualified workshop.
