It offers three major advantages over stainless steel: it is approximately 40% lighter for equivalent strength (greater comfort over long distances), it is completely rust-proof and hypoallergenic (ideal for sensitive skin), and it guarantees exceptional shape stability over time. PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is a surface treatment process by physical vapour deposition. This is the technology notably used in high-end watchmaking to give metal pieces their colour. On the Ed Sun, PVD allows the five colours (Silver, Black, Gun, Pink Gold, Marine) to be obtained with excellent resistance to friction, UV and time. The colour does not flake, does not tarnish, and retains its brightness even after several years of use.

The Ed Sun come in large format (lens size 56 mm). This format suits medium to wide faces and builds seeking an assertive visual presence. To check compatibility with your face, measure the width between your temples: if it is greater than 135 mm, the large format is suitable.
