The FCR-TR-GR007 adds side returns that extend protection to the flanks of the radiator, weighs 350 g and offers more complete protection. The choice depends on your usage. For road, urban or light trail use, the plan version is sufficient. For more committed off-road use with frequent lateral projections (tracks, stony paths), the version with returns is recommended.

The contained weight (250 g) does not penalise the manoeuvrability of the motorcycle in the city, the 2 mm thickness preserves the lines of the Scrambler 1200, and the frontal protection is sufficient against the main risks in a road environment (gravel projected by preceding vehicles, debris on the ground, insects in fast traffic).

Installation takes a few minutes without particular mechanical knowledge. Step 1: remove the original radiator cover screws with a standard Allen key. Step 2: position the FCR guard on the front face of the radiator by aligning the fixing holes. Step 3: replace the original screws through the guard. Step 4: tighten to the torque recommended by Triumph. No drilling, no frame modification. The guard can be removed just as quickly for maintenance operations or radiator cleaning.
