Side covers dress the flanks of the bike, under the seat, and conceal technical elements such as the airbox or wiring. They play a direct part in the bike's line and style. In a slimmer version, they visually lighten the bike and soften the lines, for a more dynamic, pared-back stance. It's a very visible piece of personalisation. The FCR Original side covers fill this role on the Triumph Modern Classic, with handcrafted manufacture.

Yes, some side covers are supplied ready to paint, which lets you finish them in the colour of your choice and match them to the bike's livery. You then apply a primer and the paint, following the maker's instructions. A common precaution is not to heat-cure the parts at too high a temperature when drying. The FCR Original side covers come in a ready-to-paint finish, and a bespoke customisation is available on request.

These side covers are designed for Triumph Modern Classic from 2016 to 2021, notably Street Twin, Street Cup, T100 and T120. On Street Twin and T120 from 2019, fitment calls for two simple adaptations: move the brake hose routing behind the frame tube on the left side, and remove the airbox manifold on the right side (no effect on braking or the engine). These side covers are made of fibreglass, a light material that allows fine, well-finished shapes. Each part is handmade in our workshop. The covers come in three finishes: matte black, gloss black and ready to paint. Each gives a distinct result, from the most discreet to the most customisable. The ready-to-paint version leaves you free to apply the colour of your choice. To go further, a bespoke customisation can be made on request. The matching references are FCR-TR-CA001-NM (matte black), FCR-TR-CA001-NB (gloss black), FCR-TR-CA001-BR (ready to paint) and FCR-TR-CA001-P (customisation).

The covers clip into the original slots, with no drilling. Just grease the cover fixing studs before fitting to make the parts seat easily. On Street Twin and T120 from 2019, two adjustments are provided: reposition the brake hose on the left side and remove the airbox manifold on the right side. These operations have no effect on braking or the engine. Fitment stays simple and reversible. Refer to the manual for the detail.
