Fitting is done on the original base, with the supplied hardware, and stays reversible: 1) Remove the original plate holder. 2) Fix the side-mount holder onto the original base with the supplied screws and nuts. 3) Fit the FCR Original chain guard. 4) Install the plate and, depending on the version, reuse your original turn signals or fit the FCR signals. 5) Connect the turn signal wiring and check they work. No permanent modification is required.

The "original signal" version reuses your OEM turn signals, which you reconnect to the original wiring: it is the most economical option. The "FCR signal" version includes two FCR Original turn signals, for a finer finish that is more coherent with the relocated rear. The choice depends on budget and the level of finish you want. In both cases, the set stays road-legal.
