These Kineo spoked wheels were selected by our FCR Accessoires team for the first generation of liquid-cooled Triumph 900s: the Bonneville T100 and Street Twin 900 built from 2016 to 2018. Signed Kineo, an Italian high-end benchmark, they give these bikes running gear worthy of a finished neo-retro build.

On the Street Twin, delivered with cast wheels, spokes completely change the silhouette and bring the bike closer to the classic Bonnevilles. On the T100, already fitted with spokes, Kineo brings what the stock wheels do not: tubeless tyres, without touching the look. On a bike that already has a few years behind it, it is also a chance to start again on new wheels, bearings included.

Kineo's patented technology makes the spoked rim airtight. A punctured tubeless tyre deflates slowly instead of bursting, and can be repaired without removing the wheel. The anodised aluminium and stainless steel construction reduces unsprung mass and keeps the bike precise, in town as on twisty roads.

The pair matches the bike's dimensions, with a 2.75x18 front rim and a 4.25x17 rear rim. Wheel bearings and spacers are included. Fitting is done on the original base, but requires transferring the brake discs and rear sprocket: a job to be entrusted only to a qualified workshop.

Fitting requires removing the wheels, transferring the brake discs (refitted with red Loctite) and rear sprocket, then installing the supplied bearings and spacers. ❯ How do you know which generation your Triumph Bonneville T100 or Street Twin is?

The most reliable way is the first registration year and the frame number (VIN), shown on the registration document. Liquid-cooled Triumph 900s fall into two main periods, 2016-2018 and 2019 onwards, with chassis changes between them. In 2023, the Street Twin was renamed Speed Twin 900. Before ordering a running gear part, always check the exact model year, and have it confirmed if in doubt.

❯ Do you need new tyres when switching to tubeless wheels?

Yes. A tubeless rim is designed for tubeless tyres, fitted without an inner tube. Tyres designed for a tube (marked “TT”) must not be fitted on their own to a tubeless rim. Switching to tubeless wheels is therefore the time to choose recent tyres in the right size for the bike, and to have them balanced during fitting.

❯ Are these wheels compatible with my motorcycle?

They are designed for the Triumph Bonneville T100 and Street Twin 900 from 2016 to 2018. For a T100, Street Twin or Speed Twin 900 from 2019, you need our Kineo Speed Twin 900 and T100 2019+ wheels, a different reference. If in doubt, confirm with us before ordering.

❯ How are these wheels fitted?

Fitting is to be entrusted to a qualified workshop: 1) Remove the original wheels. 2) Recover the brake discs, rear sprocket and bolts. 3) Install the supplied bearings on the new wheels. 4) Refit the discs and sprocket with red Loctite, at the specified torques. 5) Install the wheels on the bike. As this is a safety part, professional checking is essential.

❯ What is the lead time to receive these wheels?

Each pair is made to order, with a manufacturing lead time of around 3 to 4 months, whichever finish you choose. We recommend ordering ahead to make the most of the riding season.

❯ What finishes and customisations are possible?

The wheels are offered in black or brushed. Other colour combinations are possible on request, on the rim, spokes, hub or ring. Contact us to look into your configuration and get a suitable lead time.
