An aluminium license plate holder for the Triumph Trident 660, for a compact rear and a premium look
This side-mount license plate holder was selected and configured by FCR Accessoires to slim down the rear of your Triumph Trident 660. Built for the neo-retro and cafe racer world, it relocates the license plate to the side to clear the rear line and give the bike a more compact, sharper stance.
Its first contribution is both aesthetic and functional: it tidies up the rear by removing the bulky look of the original holder, while keeping a clean, road-legal fitting. The kit includes an FCR Original chain guard, for a coherent set that dresses the rear in the same spirit.
The part is made from anodised aluminium, a guarantee of lightness, corrosion resistance and a durable finish. Its high-strength construction is built to last over time against spray and vibration, with a dark, even look.
Fitting is done on the original base, with the supplied hardware, and stays fully reversible: you can return to the original configuration at any time. Depending on the version chosen, you reuse your original turn signals or fit FCR turn signals, with the matching electrical connection.

What is a side-mount license plate holder for on a motorcycle?
A side-mount license plate holder moves the plate to the side of the rear wheel, instead of the often bulky, overhanging original holder. The aim is to slim down and lighten the rear line, for a more compact, sporty look, in the cafe racer or custom spirit. On a Triumph Trident 660, it is one of the most effective accessories to transform the rear of the bike. A road-legal model lets you do this while staying legal on the road.

Is this plate holder compatible with my motorcycle?
It is designed for the Triumph Trident 660, model years 2021 to 2025. Fitting is done on the original base. If you are unsure about your version or model year, check compatibility with us before ordering and we will confirm for you.
How do you fit this plate holder?
Fitting is done on the original base, with the supplied hardware, and stays reversible: 1) Remove the original plate holder. 2) Fix the side-mount holder onto the original base with the supplied screws and nuts. 3) Fit the FCR Original chain guard. 4) Install the plate and, depending on the version, reuse your original turn signals or fit the FCR signals. 5) Connect the turn signal wiring and check they work. No permanent modification is required.
What is the difference between the OEM signal and FCR signal versions?
The "original signal" version reuses your OEM turn signals, which you reconnect to the original wiring: it is the most economical option. The "FCR signal" version includes two FCR Original turn signals, for a finer finish that is more coherent with the relocated rear. The choice depends on budget and the level of finish you want. In both cases, the set stays road-legal.
Is this plate holder road-legal?
Yes, this plate holder is road-legal (E/CE), which makes it suitable for legal use on public roads. Depending on your country and the plate orientation, fitting or visibility conditions may apply. If you are unsure about your local regulations, contact us before ordering and we will guide you.
