For the Barry Sun, Brett chose photochromic technology, particularly suited to motorcycle rides that alternate light conditions (sunny highway, shaded forests, tunnels, end of day).

The adaptation of photochromic lenses is progressive and rapid. The transition from clear to dark takes about 30 seconds to 1 minute in full sunlight. The return to a clearer state is slightly longer, about 2 to 5 minutes depending on the outside temperature (the lenses lighten faster in warm weather). In motorcycle conditions with constant alternation, this adaptation happens naturally without bothersome visual interruption.

The Bold collection by Brett Eyewear is based on a strong stylistic choice: the contrast between thickness and finesse. The front face is in thick acetate (5 to 10 mm), creating an assertive visual presence and an immediately recognisable graphic character. The Barry Sun come in large format (lens size 55 mm). This format suits medium to wide faces and builds seeking an assertive visual presence. To check compatibility with your face, measure the width between your temples: if it is greater than 135 mm, the large format is suitable.
