The Spitfire Sun was born from the meeting between French brand Brett Eyewear and Wheels & Waves, the iconic festival of motorcycle, surf and lifestyle culture held annually in Biarritz. An exclusive collaboration between two universes sharing the same values: mechanical passion, vintage aesthetics, refusal of the conventional. The result is a collector model with contrasted lines, immediately recognisable, bearing the common signature of both brands.

The signature detail of the Spitfire Sun: a perforated cap overhanging the lenses, directly inspired by the mechanical universe and engine parts. This perforation recalls the air vents of engine crankcases, lever holes, technical plates of vintage builds. A strong visual signature that immediately distinguishes the Spitfire from other Brett models and anchors the eyewear in the motorsport DNA of the Wheels & Waves collaboration.

The construction plays on mastered contrast between materials: the matt shell brings an assertive visual presence, the patinated stainless steel creates a technical and industrial reading, and the whole forms a sophisticated chromatic dialogue between depth and restrained brightness. The Spitfire Sun comes in medium format (lens size 52 mm). This format suits narrow to medium faces (width between temples between 130 and 140 mm). It offers a balance between visual presence and discretion. The wide bridge (20 mm) also makes it a comfortable model for people with a strong nose or marked spacing between the eyes. For a wider face, other Brett models such as the Ed Sun or Chuck Sun (large format) will be more suitable. The FCR Accessoires team can advise you in case of hesitation.
