The Midnight Racer helmet makes a simple graphic statement: a deep, glossy navy blue, crossed by a wide central black band framed by two fine white pinstripes. The composition holds together through the precision of its proportions and the quality of execution, with no overstatement. A direct, distance-readable silhouette that works as well on a classic neo-retro build as on a strong café racer.

The helmet is built on the Hedon Heroine Racer 2.0 base, hand-painted in the FCR Original French workshop. The craftsmen apply their signature palette: pearl varnish, deep navy blue, controlled contrast with the black band and the white pinstripes. The mastery of gesture and the manual finishing mean each piece carries its own micro-variations, the very signature of its uniqueness.

The most singular detail of the Midnight Racer lies on the trim: a tan camel leather hand-stitched with contrasting visible stitching. This material choice brings an artisanal warmth to the graphic design of the shell and immediately distinguishes the helmet within the range. The natural leather develops its own patina over the kilometres, accentuating the personal character of the helmet.

The FCR Original signature is engraved on a chin plate, closing the composition with the same rigour found on the motorcycles built in the workshop. The brass Hedon plate and polished brass hardware complete the visual identity, in coherence with the warm chromatic code of the leather trim.

Beneath this custom paint hides the reference quality of the Hedon Heroine Racer 2.0: composite fibreglass and carbon fibre shell, Hed-Armour 360° padded lining, antibacterial Merlin fabric, brass DD ring, 3-channel ventilation, dual ECE 22.06 and DOT homologation. Each Midnight Racer helmet is hand-painted in the FCR Original workshop in France. The paint, applied manually, carries on each piece its own micro-variations in pearl, depth of navy blue, and white pinstripes. Yes. The natural camel leather develops a patina over use, depending on sun exposure, frequency of use and skin contact. This evolution is sought after and is part of the character of the Midnight Racer: each helmet ages with its owner, accentuating its personal and collector side. Occasional maintenance with a product dedicated to natural leather preserves its suppleness.

Each helmet is painted to order in the FCR Original workshop. There is no closed numbered series defined in advance, but the edition remains limited by the manual production time of each piece. To know current availability or reserve a size, contact the FCR Accessoires team.

❯ Which size to choose and how to measure your head circumference?

To choose your size, measure your head circumference with a tape measure, passing 1 cm above the eyebrows and above the ears. Refer to the Hedon size chart: S 55-56 cm / M 57-58 cm / L 59-60 cm / XL 61-62 cm / XXL 63-64 cm / XXXL 65-66 cm. In case of doubt between two sizes, take the larger one to ensure long-distance comfort. The FCR Accessoires team can advise you in case of hesitation.

❯ Is the included visor approved for both day and night riding?

Yes. The clear visor supplied as standard with the Midnight Racer is ECE-approved and usable in all conditions, day or night. Five compatible coloured visors (smoked, burgundy smoked, mirror, etc.) are available as separate accessories to adapt the helmet according to conditions and tastes. Smoked visors should be used for daytime riding only.
