Yes. This chain guard is compatible with the Triumph Modern Classic range: Bonneville T100, T120, Speed Twin 900, Street Twin, Street Scrambler, Street Cup and Scrambler 900. It fits as a direct replacement for the original chain guard on all these models, without modification. Please note that this part is not compatible with the Speed Twin 1200 or Speed Twin 1200 RS.

The original plastic chain guard on Triumph Modern Classic bikes is often perceived as a visual weak point on the motorcycle. Simply unscrew the two original screws holding the part in place on the swingarm, remove the plastic chain guard and fix the FCR Accessoires aluminium chain guard using the same screws. No modification, no drilling, no specific tooling required. An illustrated fitting guide is supplied with the part. The operation takes around 10 minutes.

The black finish integrates naturally with darker builds, coherent with Bonneville Bobber Black, dark Speed Twins or sober Scramblers. The brushed finish offers a clear, bright aluminium look, better suited to classic café racer builds or Modern Classics with a metallic livery. The choice is made at the time of order.

The protection function is equivalent: in both cases, the part prevents debris, mud and direct impacts from reaching the chain and swingarm. The real difference lies in durability and long-term resistance. Aluminium withstands impacts, temperature variations and scratches better than the original plastic, which can become brittle, deform or discolour over time.

Yes. The chain guard dimensions (height 99 mm, width 52 mm, length 348 mm) are designed to cover the original Triumph chain without interfering with its operation. Reinforced chain kits approved for the Modern Classic range retain dimensions comparable to the original chain, so the part remains compatible in the vast majority of cases.
