The rear wheel maintains better contact with the road surface, directly improving traction, line-holding and overall feedback to the rider.

Yes. This shock absorber is developed and rated for the BMW R nineT and R nineT Pure produced between 2021 and 2023. It is not the same product as the M-Shock designed for the 2013-2020 generations, as mounting points and fitment dimensions may differ between model years.
The standard suspension is calibrated for general-purpose use and shows its limits in dynamic riding, on degraded surfaces or under load: imprecise cornering, poorly controlled rebound, insufficient comfort over long distances. The M-Shock allows the motorcycle's behaviour to be tailored to real-world use and the rider's profile.
A single dial acts simultaneously on compression and rebound in a synchronised manner. Each click produces a noticeable change in behaviour. Adjustment requires no specific tooling and is done directly on the motorcycle. If the setup feels too soft, adding one or two clicks is enough to feel the difference. The hydraulics can equally be softened according to the rider's preference.
