The M-Shock 2 for BMW R nineT Scrambler (2021-2023) is the high-performance version of the M-Shock range. It is aimed at experienced riders seeking full control over their rear suspension setup, whether on track, in competition or during road rallies. Where the M-Shock synchronises compression and rebound on a single dial, the M-Shock 2 features two fully independent dials: each parameter is adjusted freely, with no interaction on the other.
This independence of adjustment is particularly valuable in a sporting context. On track, conditions evolve quickly: surface temperature, corner profiles, riding style. Being able to modify rebound without touching compression - or vice versa - allows the motorcycle's behaviour to be adapted precisely to each situation, without recalibrating the entire setup.
The progressive hydraulics of the M-Shock 2 filter small surface irregularities effectively while maintaining a firm, controlled response under heavier compression loads. On the Scrambler 2021-2023, whose mixed-use character involves varied and sometimes degraded surfaces, this combination of precision and progressive response ensures consistent line-holding and homogeneous behaviour regardless of the load applied to the rear end.
This product includes a factory setup service carried out by Shock Factory before dispatch. Based on the information provided at the time of order - solo or two-up use, rider weight with gear, luggage frequency and weight - the shock absorber is individually calibrated to be ready to use immediately after fitting, with no additional adjustment required.
Every unit is tested on a Roehrig dyno before dispatch. Components, materials and surface treatments are selected for their endurance under the most demanding conditions. Fitting is a direct replacement for the standard unit, with no structural modification to the motorcycle required.

The M-Shock uses a single dial synchronising compression and rebound across 48 clicks. The M-Shock 2 features two fully independent dials: one controls compression, the other rebound, with no interaction between the two. This independence allows far more precise tuning, suited to experienced riders and sporting use.
Yes. The M-Shock 2 reference FCR-BM-AM007 is developed for the BMW R nineT Scrambler and R nineT Urban G/S produced between 2021 and 2023. It is not the same product as the M-Shock 2 designed for the 2016-2020 generation, as fitment dimensions and mounting points may differ.
Before dispatch, Shock Factory sets up the shock absorber individually based on the information provided at the time of order: solo or two-up use, rider weight with gear, luggage frequency and weight, passenger weight if applicable. The shock absorber is ready to use immediately after fitting, with no additional adjustment required.
The M-Shock 2 is designed for road and track use. It significantly improves behaviour on degraded roads, compact trails and varied surfaces. However, it is not intended for intensive off-road use and the warranty does not cover this type of riding.
No. The M-Shock 2 fits as a direct replacement for the standard unit on the R nineT Scrambler and Urban G/S (2021-2023). No modifications to the frame or mounting points are required. Fitting is reversible. Professional installation is recommended to validate the initial setup.
The M-Shock 2 carries a 2-year warranty with no mileage limit for road and track use. The warranty does not apply to off-road use. After the warranty period, FCR Accessoires after-sales service handles revision or repair of the shock absorber. Every unit is individually tested on a Roehrig dyno before dispatch.
