The Juan Sun represent the pinnacle of Brett Eyewear's craftsmanship. The frame is entirely laser-cut from a block of pure titanium, then brushed and hand-polished in the Brett workshops. This process, longer and more costly than standard machining, guarantees a millimetric finish and a unique result: each pair bears the marks of manual work, in the tradition of the great artisanal eyewear houses.
The temples are equally remarkable. Shaped from a cylinder of titanium progressively drawn down, they have no welding. This progressive drawing technique, inherited from goldsmithing and watchmaking, guarantees maximum strength and unparalleled lightness. No weak point at the junctions, no risk of rupture at the classic articulations: the temple is a continuous piece whose section gradually decreases towards the tip.
The pure titanium used for the Juan Sun is the absolute reference material in high-end eyewear. Lighter than stainless steel (about 40% lighter), more resistant to corrosion, hypoallergenic: it represents the premium choice for a frame intended for intensive use. On the Juan Sun, its use as a pure block, without alloy, pushes the quality requirement even further.
The defining feature of the Juan Sun for motorcyclists: the seamless titanium temples are ultra-thin and flexible, specifically designed to slip under a helmet without discomfort at the temples. The intrinsic lightness of pure titanium and the absence of welding further enhance comfort over long distances. A precious technical signature for long rides, particularly appreciable during extended motorcycle journeys.
The high-quality Divel polarized lenses reduce sun reflections on the road, wet asphalt and metallic surfaces. The polarizing filter improves contrast, reduces visual fatigue over long distances and allows for better reading of road relief. A real technical protection that goes beyond the aesthetic function of a simple pair of sunglasses.
Three colours are available depending on your build and wardrobe: Gold for a luxurious and bright signature that enhances refined neo-retro builds, Gun olive green for a vintage military touch coherent with scramblers, Midnight Blue for the signature deep midnight blue of Brett. Each pair is delivered in its rigid protective case with microfibre pouch and original Brett craft packaging.

Discover Brett EyewearThe Juan Sun stand out for their unique manufacturing process at Brett Eyewear. The frame is entirely laser-cut from a block of pure titanium, then brushed and hand-polished in the Brett workshops. This artisanal process is significantly longer and more costly than standard machining, but guarantees a millimetric finish and a unique result: each pair bears the marks of manual work. The temples, shaped from a cylinder of titanium progressively drawn down without welding, complete this exceptional craftsmanship.
A traditional metal eyewear temple is generally made up of several pieces welded together: the wide part near the hinge, the temple itself, sometimes a tip. Each weld constitutes a potential weak point, likely to fail over time. The temples of the Juan Sun are shaped from a single piece, from a cylinder of titanium progressively drawn down (a goldsmithing technique consisting of gradually thinning the metal without cutting it). Result: no welding, no breaking point, maximum strength and unparalleled lightness.
Titanium exists in several grades, from commercial pure (Grade 1 to 4) to alloys (notably Ti-6Al-4V). The pure titanium used for the Juan Sun offers the maximum advantages of the material: absolute lightness, total corrosion resistance, perfect hypoallergenicity (ideal for sensitive skin). Without alloy, it preserves all the properties of titanium in its native state. This represents a higher material cost and requires adapted cutting tools, which explains the premium positioning of the Juan Sun.
Yes. The titanium temples of the Juan Sun are ultra-thin and flexible, specifically designed to slip under a helmet without creating pressure on the temples. The intrinsic lightness of pure titanium (about 40% lighter than stainless steel) and the absence of welding further enhance this comfort. For long rides or extended motorcycle journeys, the Juan Sun are among the most comfortable models to wear under a helmet on the market. Compatible with Hedon, Bell, Shoei helmets and most standard open-face or full-face helmets.
Gold offers a luxurious and bright signature that enhances refined neo-retro builds and motorcycles with warm finishes (copper, brass). Gun olive green brings a vintage military touch coherent with scramblers, trails and off-road builds. Midnight Blue is the signature deep midnight blue of Brett, particularly elegant on blue, dark builds or assertive café racers. The choice depends mostly on your wardrobe and the visual universe of your motorcycle.
Exactly. Each pair of Juan Sun is polished individually by Brett craftsmen. This means that very slight micro-variations can exist from one pair to another: slightly different polishing reflections, almost imperceptible tool marks, manual signature of the work. These variations are not defects but the very signature of authentic artisanal work, in the tradition of the great eyewear houses. No two pairs are strictly identical.
