These rocker covers for BMW R nineT models from 2020 onwards transform the aesthetic of the flat twin engine through a textured satin black finish carried out in FCR Original workshops. They directly replace the original aluminium cylinder head covers to deliver a more understated and homogeneous engine appearance.
On the R nineT platform, the lateral cylinder heads strongly define the visual identity of the boxer engine. Their textured satin black treatment densifies the volumes, reduces the shine of raw aluminium and reinforces the contrast with the cooling fins and surrounding components. The engine gains visual compactness and character while retaining its original architecture.
The finish applied by FCR Original is designed to withstand the thermal constraints specific to the flat twin. The textured satin appearance provides a balance between depth and discretion, suited to a modern neo-retro configuration or a build seeking greater visual coherence.
Supplied as a pair with the corresponding spark plug caps, these covers install directly in place of the original components. Installation is strictly identical to OEM and fully reversible, with no engine modification.
This upgrade allows you to modernise or refresh the engine appearance while preserving the mechanical consistency and integration specific to the R nineT range.
